Turn an open patio into a sheltered, year-round outdoor room. A solid aluminium roof overhead, with optional screens, blinds or glass to close in the sides. Designed, built and installed across the Western Cape.
Free site visit · Lifetime corrosion guarantee · 3–5 week lead time
A patio enclosure takes a covered patio one step further, closing in the sides so wind, rain, dust and glare stay out, and the space works in every season. It starts with a solid aluminium roof, then adds the sides you need: drop blinds, screens or glass infills, specified to suit how exposed your patio is.
Aluminium Awnings designs and builds the whole structure in marine-grade aluminium and low-maintenance composite, engineered for the Western Cape coast. We recommend the right roof and the right amount of enclosure on a free site visit, with one team from brief to hand-over.
Every enclosure begins with a solid, coastal-grade aluminium roof. Then we add the sides to suit your patio.
The Cape coast is hard on outdoor structures. We build for it from the start: marine-grade aluminium with no ferrous metal, baked-enamel and powder-coat finishes rated for Atlantic salt air, and stainless fasteners throughout.
Structures are sized for Cape Doctor wind loads, and every motorised installation uses IP65-rated motor housings. It's coastal-grade construction across the whole range, built once and built right.

What a fantastic experience. The new louvre awning has made such a difference to our outdoor space and has honestly exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail during the installation was excellent, and the whole team was friendly, respectful, and easy to deal with. It looks like it was always meant to be part of the house. Thank you for a job well done!
We were looking for a modern, low-maintenance patio cover that suited our home in Stellenbosch, and this was exactly what we wanted. The finish is beautiful, the installation was neat, and communication throughout the project was excellent. It’s given us a space we can enjoy all year round. We would definitely use Aluminium Awnings again.
Aluminium Awnings Cape Town enclosed our Constantia patio with a manual louvre roof, full white, with aluminium doors and windows all round, and it's honestly become our favourite part of the house. We use it right through winter now. The rain and the wind don't get in, and it's so easy to wind the louvres open when the sun comes out. Neat, tidy install with a friendly team, and the white finish looks really clean against the house. Couldn't be happier, highly recommend.
Ryan and his team were awesome and really went the extra mile to make our awning perfect! Can definitely recommend them!
Very happy with the replacement of our awning after it got damaged in the May storm. More sturdy and stronger
We recently had a louvre awning installed by Aluminium Awnings at our home in Durbanville, and we’re so pleased with the result. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and the finished product has completely transformed our outdoor space. The team was professional, arrived on time, and kept us informed throughout the installation. We looked at a few different companies before deciding, and we’re really glad we chose Aluminium Awnings. If you’re considering louvre awnings in Cape Town, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Absolutely thrilled with our new louvre awning from Aluminium Awnings. From start to finish, the service was professional, the installation was neat, and the finished product looks incredible. We’re based in Blouberg, so we wanted something that would work well with the coastal conditions and strong winds, while still giving us control over the sunlight and shade. The louvre awning has completely transformed the outside area and the quality of the aluminium structure and finish is excellent. Would definitely recommend Aluminium Awnings to anyone in Blouberg or Cape Town looking for a quality louvre awning. Very happy with the end result!
