Aluminium Awnings is an outdoor-living contractor working across Cape Town and the Western Cape. We design, fabricate and install our products ourselves , from adjustable louvre roofs and fixed pergolas to patio ceilings and carports, rather than sub-contracting the work out.
That single-team approach is the point. The crew that quotes your project is the crew that builds it in our workshop and installs it on site, so the detailing, finishes and fit are consistent from first measurement to final hand-over. Every structure is custom-engineered to your space and to the coast it has to stand up to.
We don't hand your project around. Design, fabrication and installation all happen under one roof. Everything is cut, drilled and powder-coated to your colour, then fitted by our own installation crew.
It means tighter quality control, cleaner site work and a single point of accountability. Residential installs are typically completed in one to two days, with clean-up and a full controls walkthrough on hand-over.
The Cape coast is hard on outdoor structures. We build for it from the start: marine-grade aluminium with no ferrous metal, baked-enamel and powder-coat finishes rated for Atlantic salt air, and stainless fasteners throughout.
Structures are sized for Cape Doctor wind loads, and every motorised installation uses IP65-rated motor housings. It's coastal-grade construction across the whole range, built once and built right.

Aluminium Awnings Cape Town enclosed our Constantia patio with a manual louvre roof, full white, with aluminium doors and windows all round, and it's honestly become our favourite part of the house. We use it right through winter now. The rain and the wind don't get in, and it's so easy to wind the louvres open when the sun comes out. Neat, tidy install with a friendly team, and the white finish looks really clean against the house. Couldn't be happier, highly recommend.
