A manual louvre roof rotates the blades with a simple gear mechanism. A motorised roof uses a quiet electric motor and remote or wall switch, with optional smart-home control.
Motorised wins for large roofs, high installations and daily use — one button instead of a crank. For a small, easy-reach patio, manual is perfectly practical.
