These terms govern your use of the Aluminium Awnings website and set out the basis on which we provide quotes, products and services. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Aluminium Awnings ("we", "us", "our") designs, fabricates and installs louvre roofs, pergolas, patio ceilings, carports and related outdoor-living products in Cape Town and the Western Cape. Registered entity: Ernaforce (Pty) Ltd. Contact: hello@aawn.co.za.
2. Using this website
You may use this website for lawful, personal and business purposes related to our products and services. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it in any way that could damage or impair it.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this website (including text, images, graphics, logos, layout and design) is owned by or licensed to Aluminium Awnings and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute it without our written permission.
4. Quotes and pricing
Every project is custom-engineered to your site, so any prices, rates or "from" figures shown on this website are indicative only and do not constitute a binding offer. A binding quote is provided in writing after a free site visit, and is valid for the period stated on that quote. Pricing depends on size, configuration, materials, finishes, site conditions and access, and may change before a quote is formally accepted. Unless otherwise stated in writing, all amounts on this website are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR), per square metre supplied and installed, and exclude structural engineering certificates, electrical certification, building-plan approvals, scaffolding or specialist access not within standard installation scope.
5. Products and services
Product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, colours and images on this website are provided for general guidance and may vary. Powder-coat and finish colours shown on screen are representative and may differ from the actual product; we provide physical samples on request. Custom fabrication is carried out to the dimensions and specifications confirmed in your accepted quote.
5a. Photography and use of project images
Unless you tell us otherwise in writing before the install, you agree that we may photograph the completed installation (including the structure, finishes and the surrounding outdoor area, but excluding identifiable persons) and use those photographs in our portfolio, case studies, website, social media and marketing materials. We do not publish street addresses or owner names. If you would like your install kept out of our portfolio, please confirm that in writing at the time of accepting your quote.
6. Guarantees
Our current guarantees apply to installations completed on or after 1 June 2026: a lifetime corrosion guarantee on aluminium components, a 10-year structural guarantee, and a 2-year workmanship guarantee. Installations completed before 1 June 2026 are covered by the guarantee terms in place at the time: a 15-year guarantee on aluminium components, a 1-year workmanship guarantee, and no structural guarantee. All guarantees are subject to the full terms, conditions and exclusions provided with your quote and on hand-over. Guarantees assume correct use and reasonable maintenance, and may be affected by alterations, third-party work, misuse or events beyond our control. Composite and third-party materials may carry separate manufacturer warranties.
7. Bookings, deposits and cancellations
Orders are confirmed on acceptance of a written quote and any required deposit. Lead times, deposit terms, payment terms and cancellation arrangements are set out in your quote and order documentation. As products are custom-made, cancellation or changes after fabrication has begun may incur costs.
8. Third-party links
This website may link to third-party websites or services. We provide these for convenience and are not responsible for their content, products or practices.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Aluminium Awnings is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable South African law.
10. Privacy
Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information in line with POPIA.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the revised "last updated" date, and continued use of the website means you accept the updated terms.
